Thingy Farm is a place of exploration and learning. It’s especially about the ways people think, create, learn, and make things — regardless of our specific jobs, skills, hobbies, tasks, or interests.

Here we learn from each other in discussions. We learn from the stories of renowned experts and other humble folk via personal interviews. We dig deep for lessons from history. And especially we learn by doing in projects and experiments together online in real live workshops.

Whatever our interests, there are universal lessons to discover — how we think, learn, collaborate, and solve problems.

What are your interests and strengths? What things are you good at and things do you want to try? Is it Software? Art? 3D-printing? Electronics and Radio? Robotics? R/C? Graphics? Crafts? Computers? Mechanics? A/V? Music? Animation? Or perhaps organizing, coaching, or teaching? Are you a tool smith? Are you a troubleshooter?

In the end, we think it’s about people. See… everyone needs everyone else. Everyone has something to give and everyone has something to gain. Here at Thingy Farm we mix it up so everyone can help each other grow and learn.
